Thinking about Food

Do you need a break? From what?

I am constantly thinking about Food. It seems like all I want to do is eat. It’s a habit. All food does is turn into fat that just won’t go away.

I’ve tried every diet in the book. I’ve even had the gastric sleeve surgery but the durn weight just won’t come off. It’s like my body goes into survival mode and says “You gonna eat or I’m going to give you a headache.”

So, I need a break from food. Food is my enemy and I know one day when I am gone from this world, food won’t matter.

Give me a break ice cream!

Give me a break potato chips!

Please, please give me a break cookies!

Celebrate National Marriage Week in Arkansas

The House of Representatives acknowledge the institution of marriage as a healthy and stabilizing force for good in society and recognize February 7–14, 2025, as National Marriage Week.

As you know, this website is titled Married in Arkansas. I want to share information about being married as much as I can. Our regular session for 2025 is in session. I found a bill that was introduced, red and adopted, and is a do pass. The bill number is HR1006, and it is to recognize February 7th to the 14th as National Marriage Week. So hooray! We get a whole week to celebrate marriage.

It states that marriage is the foundational relationship for all of society. Good marriages are the bedrock of strong societies and strong families.

Based on academic research, married people tend to have healthier lifestyles and longer life expectancy. They also have more wealth and economic assets. Healthy marriages decrease crime, domestic violence, abuse, poverty, juvenile delinquency, and suicide risk. The research suggests that children raised by both parents have better educational outcomes. They are more likely to obtain college degrees. These children do better academically and emotionally.

Outlaw Talk Groundhog Day Fun

Welcome to the world of my brothers. I recently used Suno ai to create a song for their podcast. They do go live on Facebook but do not have enough subscribers yet to go live on YouTube. I hope you will support him and their channel and go subscribe. Here is their latest video.

YouTube Page Update

I spent half of today editing my WordPress website’s YouTube page. I have a lot of subscriptions and find it difficult to keep track of them. Youtube does not have anything like a folder where you may categorize them by category. It is difficult to identify and sort through so many subscriptions. I wanted to compile a list of the primary channels I follow on one page and share it with everyone in case you’re interested. I organized them into categories and created explanations for each channel so you could understand what it was about.

If anyone has tips to make YouTube subscriptions easier, please let me know.

As usual, I am busy at my job, but my mind does wonder. I am thinking about all the things I need to get done at home. As well as things I want to do with my new website and all the videos I want to create.

I have so much I want to do. And the closer I am to retirement, the more I think about all the things that I want to do. I even went so far to make myself a list of things on my cell phone on my breaks.

Here is my starter list.

  • I want to blog daily, or at least every other day.
  • Create more songs in Suno AI music generator.
  • Create YouTube videos for my website weekly.
  • Go live on YouTube once a week—I need to figure out a schedule.
  • I want to sell my notebook/journal that I created. I need to figure out how to make them and how to sell them.
  • Create a monthly newsletter with Ephemera that I find. I don’t know how to do this yet, but I will figure it out.

I think this is a good start. I want this to be a website where – you can come back to visit – to see new things – and – to comment. I want you, as the reader, to enjoy my content and want to come back.

Welcome to my life. I think this is a “Good Thing” for me. If you would, please give me a comment or send me an email. It doesn’t cost you anything, and it will really help me.

My First Blog Post

So welcome to my new website. I did have a current blog on Blogger, http://marriedinarkansas.blogspot.com/ but I have not been able to keep it current or up-to-date as I would like. I hope this platform will be more successful as time goes on.

I also have a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/LisaSanders0911 that you can go check out.

Please let me know if you do.

Thanks,

Lisa

A little bit about me.

I have a current blog on Blogger that is hard to manage and to keep current. I read online that WordPress is a better platform to earn revenue from than Blogger. So here I am.

I am, of course, married in Arkansas. I have been married going on 26 years this November. I also have a YouTube channel. I have a lot of things going on and I need a place to write about my life and to share things in writing.

Some answers to questions.

  • Why do this? I love to write.
  • What I am about? Just a middle aged married woman who works full-time away from home.
  • Why should you read my blog? I am just a nobody who has something to say and I am looking for others who can relate to me.

Here are a few more answers to some questions:

  • Why am I blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal? I actually do keep a personal journal but I want a place to share my idea’s and thoughts.
  • What topics do I think I’ll write about? Most likely that will be random things but I hope to make them a generalized specific topic one day.
  • Who would I love to connect with via my blog? Others who have the same likes and dislikes.
  • If I blog successfully throughout the next year, what would I hope to have accomplished? More followers and friends.
