The Magic of Creating a Love Song

This is how my brain works.

Cuddle Close First Version
Here are the Lyrics Suno made from the prompt.
[Verse 1] [Male]
The world can spin
Let it go
Let it turn
[Female]
The fire’s low
But it’s enough to burn
[Male]
Your head on my shoulder
It’s all I need
[Female]
A blanket
Your heartbeat
That’s luxury indeed

[Prechorus] [Both]
The TV’s on
But we don’t watch
[Male]
The plot’s forgotten
[Female]
Your warmth’s the plot

[Chorus] [Both]
Cuddle close
Just you and me
Wrap me up in your gravity
No need for words
The silence speaks
Cuddle close
We’ve got all we seek

[Verse 2] [Female]
The couch is worn
It sinks in the middle
[Male]
But it’s perfect for two
Where we fit like a riddle
[Female]
Your socks mismatched
My hair’s a mess
[Male]
But nothing beats this
No fancy dress

[Prechorus] [Both]
The clock can tick
Let it unwind
[Male]
We’ve got forever
[Female]
In this small slice of time

[Chorus] [Both]
Cuddle close
Just you and me
Wrap me up in your gravity
No need for words
The silence speaks
Cuddle close
We’ve got all we seek
As the world spins, this is all I know
Let it turn, where it wants to go
Your head on my shoulder, that’s all I need
Your heartbeats a blanket, a luxury indeed

[Prechorus]
The TV’s on but I don’t care
The stories forgotten, your warmth’s my love affair

[Chorus]
Cuddle close, right next to me
Wrap me up by your royal decree
No need for words, let silence speak
So cuddle close, right next to me

[Verse 2]
The couch is worn, it’s a perfect fit.
Just right for two, where the soft edges fit
My socks mismatched, your hair’s a mess
But nothing beats this, no mental distress

[Prechorus]
The clock can tick, let it chime
We’ve carved forever in this small slice of time

[Chorus]
Cuddle close, right next to me
Wrap me up by your royal decree
No need for words, let silence speak
So cuddle close, right next to me

[Bridge]
Outside the world’s a hurricane
Deadlines and noise, a runaway train
But here in your arms, I breathe again
A quiet domain where love has always been

[Outro]
Cuddle close, your head on my shoulder blade
This pure love has been tailor made
In our quiet kingdom, nowhere else to go
Let our hearts beat as one, real slow

So cuddle close, don’t let it fade
Your everything I ever portrayed
So cuddle a little closer, right next to me

Yard Sale Wisdom: What Makes Life Good?

Give Me:

You’re the Best Deal of My Life

How do I love you? Let me say,
Through every find, through every day.
From flea markets to Sunday drives,
With you, my love, my heart still thrives.

I loved you when the world seemed wide,
Through trailer hauls and deals to find.
Through laughter loud and moments small,
You've been my greatest prize of all.

I will love you still through every year,
Through every joy, through every tear.
Side by side, through thick and thin,
I'd choose you over and over again.

I loved you in our younger days,
Through all the dreams, through all the maze.
From "Look what I found!" to "Just one more,"
You made my life worth searching for.

I loved you in the quiet nights,
The stories shared, the wrongs made right.
Through winding roads and steps we've climbed,
My love grows stronger every time.

I will love you still through every year,
Through every joy, through every tear.
Side by side, through thick and thin,
I'd choose you over and over again.

We’ve built a life, a love so true,
Through ups and downs, we made it through.
With every joke, with every sigh,
You're still the twinkle in my eye.

No map, no plan, just you and me,
A love as wild as it can be.
Through every sale and every find,
You're still the best deal of my life.

I will love you still through every year,
Through every joy, through every tear.
Side by side, through thick and thin,
I'd choose you over and over again.

Through every storm, through every mile,
Your hand in mine makes it all worthwhile.
After all these years, through thick and thin,
I'm still right here, just like I've always been

We were live and you can still watch it

Last night, March 15th, we were live on a podcast to talk with Echo from Georgia. I keep wanting to say Alabama for some reason, but it is in about the same location. Close to the Florida state line.

It lasted for almost 2 hours, and I think it was very productive. We talked about our relationship and my music. All of my songs have a story behind them in one way or another. I played the music on my television behind us. She couldn’t get the song to play in the live stream through the website we were using called Restream.

I have a lot of work to do. I am working a full-time job. I am also keeping up with this blog and both of my Youtube channels. I really love working with Suno to create music and I love to write so there you go, viola, instant music.

If I had a dream right now, it would be to meet someone famous in the music world. Who would want one of my songs, or maybe even more of them, to play and sing. And then, it would go viral on the radio. Maybe that dream is too big for me right now but who knows. It could happen, right?

If you have watched, I would really appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you so much and I’ll be back with more content soon.

The Time Machine

The Time Machine Lyrics ~ written by Lisa Sanders, created using Suno ai

Tick, tock, gears in motion,

Hidden key, secret notion.

Antique sale, they didn’t see,

What this dusty box could really be.

Wrapped my arms around my father tight,

Wish I’d told him more before he said goodnight.

All the time I wasted, words left unsaid,

Going back in time, thinking about that woodshed.

Tick, tock, turn the dial,

Found a time machine buried in the pile.

They didn’t know what they had in their hands,

But I dusted it off, now I’m making my stand.

One hidden key set the whole thing in motion,

I’m racing through time with a heart full of devotion.

Henry hauled the wrecks, knew the roads by name,

Tried to teach me, but I played a different game.

Wish I’d learned how to drive that bulldozer,

Going back in time so I’m not somebody’s gopher.

Tick, tock, turn the dial,

Found a time machine buried in the pile.

They didn’t know what they had in their hands,

But I dusted it off, now I’m making my stand.

One hidden key set the whole thing in motion,

I’m racing through time with a heart full of devotion.

If I could have found you sooner on this winding road,

We’d have more years before the clocks got old.

Every laugh, every kiss, every dream in your eyes,

I’d give you forever if time could rewind.

Tick, tock, turn the dial,

Found a time machine buried in the pile.

They didn’t know what they had in their hands,

But I dusted it off, now I’m making my stand.

One hidden key set the whole thing in motion,

I’m racing through time with a heart full of devotion.

Tick, tock, gears slow down,

My Future’s waiting, and I’m homebound.

No more running, no disguise,

The past is gone, but love never dies.

Love will never die.

So here is the meaning behind the song.

Verse 1 is about the bond between a father and a son. Namely, between my husband, Eugene, and his father. His father passed away back in 1997. There was a lot of unspoken words between them. Lets just say – their relationship was not good. His father did a lot of things that he did not agree with and we will leave it at that because that is not my story to tell.

Verse 2 was about Henry. Henry was a father figure to Eugene when he was a teenager. Henry took him under his wing and treated him like his son. He had a very good relationship with Henry but, being a teenage boy, he had other things on his mind. He did not take advantage of opportunities that presented itself.

Verse 3 is about the relationship he has with me. We have been married going on 32 years. We only got together after both of us divorced. My story, I can tell and you will probably hear more about it as time goes on. Eugene doesn’t mind if I tell the story he had with his ex wife – that is free game.

So, although he hasn’t found that time machine in an antique estate sale yet. It is something that could possible happen. You know how you open a box full of memories. There will be old pictures possible love letters or postcards? Well, this is kind of like that. The key is about love. Love opens a box of memories. I put that idea with three things that happened in the past. I hope that you can relate to this song in some way, shape or form.

With that being said ~ Suck it up, Buttercup!

Celebrate National Marriage Week in Arkansas

The House of Representatives acknowledge the institution of marriage as a healthy and stabilizing force for good in society and recognize February 7–14, 2025, as National Marriage Week.

As you know, this website is titled Married in Arkansas. I want to share information about being married as much as I can. Our regular session for 2025 is in session. I found a bill that was introduced, red and adopted, and is a do pass. The bill number is HR1006, and it is to recognize February 7th to the 14th as National Marriage Week. So hooray! We get a whole week to celebrate marriage.

It states that marriage is the foundational relationship for all of society. Good marriages are the bedrock of strong societies and strong families.

Based on academic research, married people tend to have healthier lifestyles and longer life expectancy. They also have more wealth and economic assets. Healthy marriages decrease crime, domestic violence, abuse, poverty, juvenile delinquency, and suicide risk. The research suggests that children raised by both parents have better educational outcomes. They are more likely to obtain college degrees. These children do better academically and emotionally.

Building a Strong Marriage: Why Your Partner Matters Most

Marriage thrives behind closed doors, built on teamwork, communication, and prioritizing your partner above all else. When life gets messy, a strong foundation carries you through. True strength isn’t in appearances but in the love, trust, and quiet commitment you share—because a thriving relationship starts where no one else can see.

The Strength of a True Partnership

In this post, I want to talk about what my website is all about. I want to share ideas, advice, and facts with my readers. So, first of all, thanks for coming to my page. Marriage is one of the most beautiful and challenging journeys you can embark on with someone. It’s not about perfection. It is not about public appearances. But about the unwavering commitment and love that form the foundation of your relationship. A foundation should be built and nurtured behind closed doors. In this post, I want to share some reflections on what makes a strong marriage and why your partner should always come first, even above the demands of work and other external pressures.

1. Your Partner Comes First

In the hustle and bustle of life, it can be easy to let work, hobbies, or even social obligations take precedence over your relationship. But at the end of the day, your job won’t hold your hand when you’re sick, comfort you during hard times, or celebrate your victories with genuine joy. Prioritizing your partner means ensuring that your love and commitment remain at the center of your life, no matter what else is going on.

When one of you is sick or struggling, the other naturally steps in to pick up the slack—whether it’s managing the household, taking care of the kids, or simply being there as emotional support. This kind of partnership is what makes a marriage strong. It’s about being a team, always ready to carry each other through life’s ups and downs.

2. The Importance of Communication

Good communication is the backbone of any healthy relationship. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in marriage is to ensure that my partner and I are always on the same page. Nothing is more embarrassing or frustrating than finding out that someone else has discussed something with your spouse that you haven’t even talked about yet. These moments can create confusion and misunderstandings that are easily avoided with open and honest communication.

Take the time to discuss plans, decisions, and even small daily updates with your partner. Make it a priority to come to agreements together, so there’s no room for miscommunication or outside interference. This not only strengthens your bond but also shows others that your marriage is built on mutual respect and understanding.

3. A Strong Marriage is Built in Private

It’s easy to project a happy image to the world, but true strength in marriage isn’t about public appearances. It’s about what happens behind closed doors. This is where you build your foundation, where love and trust grow, and where challenges are faced together without outside influence.

In a strong, healthy marriage, decisions are made as a couple, and disagreements are worked through privately. No one outside your relationship truly knows what goes on in your home, and they don’t need to. The important thing is that your foundation is solid and built on love, respect, and a shared commitment to each other.

4. Recognizing Toxic Relationships

While this post focuses on healthy relationships, it’s important to acknowledge that not all marriages are built on a solid foundation. If one partner is mean, abusive, or unwilling to work toward a strong and healthy bond, it may be time to reevaluate the relationship. No one should feel trapped in a toxic or harmful environment. If the foundation of your marriage cannot be rebuilt, seeking help or leaving may be the best path to a healthier future.

Final Thoughts

My marriage is a partnership like no other. We are there for each other, communicate openly, and we have built a life together that no one else can touch. We do not let anyone see anything that happens behind our closed doors. It’s in those private moments together that our true strength of our relationship has formed over the past 31 years.

Your partner is your best friend and the most important priority. To build a strong marriage, remember, isn’t about appearances; it’s about the love, trust, and commitment you share, no matter what life throws your way.
